Best Km Hookah?

Hey guys, how you doing?

I've decided that I want a KM hookah..I've been reading loads of threads and it seems most people on this forum have a KM and dont have any major problems with it, which is great to hear.

As you guys know, Im from the UK so my budget is about £100. I've bought loads of cheap hookah's before and they would end up rusting and so on after a few months. I've decided to save up a little to get one which is durable and long-lasting.

I want a rotator hookah because I think its fantastic having one of those but it doesnt have to be lol. I may be seduced to buy a hookah which doesnt have that feature.

I really need your opinions and suggestions on where to go and what to do from this point.

My experience with both of my KM hookahs cannot be compared to anything else out there on the market. I would suggest any, yes, any KM hookah that fits your budget. Each are made by hand, so the off chance you get a shitter IS possible but highly unlikely.

Is there a KM rotator hookah out there? I saw a few on www.hookahshop.co.uk and they look pretty good but just dont know how good they are when it comes to smokin em!

Well my first one was the enormous KM Ice Hookah that stands 46 inches and smokes like a straight beast. It cost me around 200, but my roommate and I split it, so in reality it only cost about 100 a person. I also own the smaller and equally good KM 31 inch Ice hookah seen here http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-5362-blue-i...oon-hookah.html that smokes absolutely amazing. I have to say that the second is for a more solitary smoke, but both can be used for either occasion. I have no experience with the rotating Kalils, but I have always been sketchy about those anyway. That being said, I own two KMs and have smoked from over a dozen and can say that none have provided a shitty smoke to date.

I know a lot of people have issues with rotators, particularly with them leaking. I have a KM sig ice and absolutely love it. Any KM will smoke beautifully.

no such thing has the best km, they all smoke the same..your only paying for looks and designs..so find one that looks nice to you and pull the trigger on it..other then that a $70 km will smoke the same has a $200 km

He's absolutely right. The more money you spend will most likely deal with size or ornate design. I've smoked from some pretty fugly KMs that put out clouds like no other.

If it's single hose and not a rotator, it will be a win when it comes to KM.

Save yourself the troubles of a rotating hookah and just get a Lazy Susan. I went to K1024's hookahfest awhile back and he had one there (lazy susan) and it worked great!

Agreed. I have a 4" lazy susan for my QT and Petite, and it works great.

thats a good looking km, ive always loved those frosted vases, the phunnel bowl is for use when you smoke tangiers shisha, its a must have to fully enjoy the shisha.. here is the phunnel being loaded by eric, owner of tangiers, also if you use a regular bowl you end up loosing alot of the juices down the holes and into your stem and vase, thus making your session not last long and lose alot of flavor

yea its only about £44! The 31inch Ice Hookah is about £76 approximately and I wouldn't know how safe it is for it to be shipped over to the UK.

I also heard that he uses Japanese Golden Charcoals..any of you guys use them aswell?

no those are 2 completly different bowls..stick with the phunnel..the vortex has the holes down in the bowl and that is no good for tangiers cause the juices will flow down the stem..stick with the phunnel..also there are no set perfect coals..the only thing there is are natural coals which you need a coil burner to light coil burner make sure you get that one, alot of bad burners out there..also there are quick light coals that you can light with a lighter in about 2-3 seconds..by the way the natural coals take anywhere from 4-10 minutes to light depending on which ones you use..i would go with natural coals because there is no contamination of the shisha..quick lights leave a odor and you can taste the chemical in your shisha when you take hits..so the wait to light naturals is really worth it..but if you got your heart dead set on quick lights i have to say john's ch coals are the best..also be sure when referring to them you call them ch coals and not the long c word which is a word we are not allowed to use here, since i meantion that if you havent already please take a minute to view our rules http://www.hookahforum.com/index.php?act=boardrules..ok back on topic, next if you want natural coals you can also use john's ch coals again because he makes them in natural and in quick lights..also for naturals is coconaras..these are considered to be the best in the business..here is a link to the coal

also the coals eric was using in his vid are these http://www.hookahjohn.com/product.sc?produ...mp;categoryId=6 and they have a pro/con to them the con is they only last about 25-30 minutes..so you go thru alot and will have to buy more often, but the pro to them is they can light off each other just by stacking them together..they are natural by the way not quick light, but they are also considered one of the best coals to use..so it really depends on your budget..but you cant go wrong useing any 3 of these brands..its a win win for you..

i have that exact same km. don't expect anything to go bad with it - ever. the thing is built completely solid, and feels like you're holding an axe. for 44 quid, i don't see why it wouldn't be the one you buy.

as far as phunnels, i would say that the majority of the people active on here use phunnels. are they a must to smoke everything? no. are they one hell of a buy for 15 bucks? yeah. will they increase the flavor, draw of the pipe, and smoke volume of just about any tobacco and pipe combo out there? for sure. are they available in the UK? no, i don't think so.

a few here use japanese coals. NoB already basically gave you the breakdown of the jap coals. if you're buying from hookahshop.co.uk i would have to tell you to buy the cocobrico's. they're going to be almost identical to coco naras for a FRACTION of the price. eg. the british vendor you listed has them up for about £5, here in the US, about a kilo of cocos can potentially costs almost £10! not to mention, it would be ridiculously expensive for you to ship coals all the way to wherever you are in the UK. however, since the phunnels are only widely available here in the states if i were you i would take advantage of our weak dollar/the strong pound and load up on tangiers lucid and al fakher, two brands that aren't the easiest to come by on your side of the pond.

i wish i could help you on which vendors ship to uk, i havent really researched much into that, but you can email some of our vendors and see which ones can help you..far as sizes go make sure you order the small tangiers phunnel..it may be listed has small but trust me you can easily get 90+ minutes out of it.. these are my top 3 vendors i do my business with..i suggest emailed all 3 and see which sounds better to you

everyone here is going to say hookahjohn.com, myself included. however, having something like that shipped from california, the furthest contiguous state from GB, i wouldn't think the shipping would look very nice. i would say go with nazarhookah.com, i think the phunnels they have on their site are legit tangiers phunnels. imo, if you're going to spend the money to get a phunnel from the US i would tell you to buy a legit tangiers phunnel, because they're made here of high quality, extremely durable materials. the chinese knockoffs simply don't operate as well. if the ones nazar has aren't original tang phunnels, then go to hookah john. get a SMALL phunnel (even the smalls will last 2 hours+) and get a narbish too, you won't experience the full drawing capability of the KMs if your hose is super-restrictive.

Although, they have not given me a choice of a small,medium or large phunnel. How do I know which phunnel is sure to fit on the hookah I am going to buy?

Although, they have not given me a choice of a small,medium or large phunnel. How do I know which phunnel is sure to fit on the hookah I am going to buy?

it will say tangiers phunnel..make sure it says tangiers..if your still not sure before you order post a link here and we can tell if they are the right ones or not..all of them will fit on the km, the size difference is the size of the bowl itself not the nozzle..but make sure you get small..also if you want the narbish john is the only one to get that hose from..make sure you order the new version the v3
